NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Nashville Business Journal has announced its 2024 Best of the Bar honorees and three Nelson Mullins attorneys from the firm's Nashville office were selected to this year's list. Partners Larry M. Papel, Mark L. Miller, and Jason I. Epstein were all honored as part of the list of Nashville-area attorneys selected. 

The Nashville Business Journal accepts nominations from the public and then nominees participate in a round of closed voting. Weight is given to votes outside the nominees firm or company. The top scoring names are selected to the "Best of the Bar" honorees list. 

Papel concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of corporate and real estate. Miller has extensive experience in financial institution regulation, the acquisition and sale of financial institutions and other entities, formation of de novo community banks, and corporate governance and emerging company issues. He has guided numerous clients through public offerings and private placements and has drafted and negotiated FinTech-Bank partnerships, service agreements and other business contracts. 

Epstein is the co-head of the firm's technology, procurement, outsourcing and privacy practice, and is the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Task Force. He provides legal services to buyers and sellers of technology both domestically and internationally in many industries. Epstein is also a corporate lawyer and acts as relationship partner or outside general counsel for many companies.  He is a regular speaker and author on topics important to his clients.
