Nelson Mullins partner David Ogles was recently recognized in the 2025 Illinois Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of Business Litigation.

Ogles practices in the firm's Chicago office. He and others named as Illinois Super Lawyers for 2025 were selected based off of an evaluation of 12 indicators, including peer recognition and professional achievement in legal practice. This year was Ogles' debut on the list. 

Ogles has achieved outstanding outcomes for business plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the country. He has extensive experience prosecuting and defending commercial contract and business-to-business tort cases, including high-stakes matters involving fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, bankruptcy litigation, class and mass actions, employment and restrictive covenants, insurance and asset recovery, intellectual property and trade secrets, real estate, and post-transactional matters such as earn-outs and indemnity claims. He is proud to have represented manufacturers and distributors throughout his career and also serves as outside general counsel for non-profits, social enterprises, and startups.
