MINNEAPOLIS – Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a full-service national law firm with offices from coast to coast, is pleased to welcome partner Adam Morris to its office in Minneapolis. Morris joins the firm from Medtronic and will work on the Minneapolis Litigation Team.
“Adam is a welcomed addition to our office and demonstrates our focus on growth and practice development,” said Alana Bassin, Minneapolis Partner and Litigation Team leader. “He has extensive experience with government litigation, investigations, and appeals in the healthcare technology industry on a global scale, as well as with other complex litigation matters. Adam expands the capabilities of our litigation practice and will have an immediate impact on our team.”
Prior to his position at Medtronic, Adam served as senior counsel in litigation and investigations for Target, was an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and served as an assistant United States Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. He earned his JD from the University of Minnesota Law School.
“In returning to practice and building on my career in government, healthcare, and business, I wanted a firm that had great clients, great people, and above all a business-savvy approach to practicing law,” said Morris. “In Nelson Mullins, I’ve found all three, along with an unsurpassed level of expertise in litigation and investigations. I am delighted and proud to be joining such a terrific team.”
